Getting started

1. Download Volum from the App Store.
2. Open the app — demo mode works immediately with realistic sample data.
3. For live quotes, create a free key at finnhub.io/register.
4. Paste your key in Settings → Finnhub API Key → Save, then pull to refresh on any tab.

Data providers

Volum uses a smart fallback chain: Yahoo Finance first, then Massive, then Finnhub. This reduces rate-limit errors when scanning many symbols. You can optionally add Massive and Claude API keys in Settings for additional features.

Common questions

• No picks showing? Pull to refresh on the Picks tab. Verify your API key in Settings if not in demo mode.
• Rate limit errors? The app throttles requests automatically. Wait a moment and refresh again.
• Is this financial advice? No. Volum provides algorithmic research based on technical indicators. Always do your own due diligence.

Account & data

Volum stores your watchlist and API keys locally on your device. To clear data, delete and reinstall the app, or remove API keys in Settings.
